Product Description:

Guard rail is generally mounted along a sharp curve to prevent road users' accidents. Galvanized steel sheet, the guard rail’s main material, is long-lasting, durable, and extremely resistant to erosion. Guard rail can be classified into two classes and each class can also be divided into two types as follow:

  • Class 1 – the guard rail’s thickness is not less than 3.2 mm.

    • Type 1 – coated with zinc at least 550 gm/sq./mm. by hot dip method
    • Type 2 – coated with zinc at least 1100 gm/sq./mm. by hot dip method (suitable for an area that consisted of high humidity, consequently, in corrosion for the guard rail’s material such as an area near the sea)

  • Class 2 – the guard rail’s thickness is not less than 2.5 mm.

    • Type 1 – coat zinc is at least 550 gm/sq./mm. by hot dip method
    • Type 2 – coat zinc is at least 1100 gm/sq./mm. by hot dip method (suitable for an area that consisted of high humidity, consequently, in corrosion for the guard rail’s material such as an area near the sea)
